The manufacturer of the composite material etalbond®, ELVAL COLOUR, and the official product representative for Bulgaria, ETEM Bulgaria, have welcomed a new policy with etalbond®. All new buildings identified as critical would be able to benefit from the etalbond® material with a higher degree of incombustibility, regardless of whether the new standards permit the application of aluminium composite materials with such of a lower grade.
The newly accepted norms follow the need of more sustainable solutions for façade claddings which could change not only the appearance of the buildings but the quality of life of their inhabitants.
The two companies will apply a strict policy and will not offer etalbond® with a PE core for shopping centers, buildings with a height of more than 18 meters, and highly-visited buildings such as universities, airports, metro stations, stations, stadiums, sports centers, etc.
Such buildings will only be offered etalbond® FR of a higher class along with the latest etalbond ® A2 composite panel. etalbond® A2 is the latest solution to respond to the public inducement for sustainable change and a positive impact in the construction of new-generation projects and buildings.
The etalbond® A2 composite panel is made up of 94 % mineral core making it almost completely noncombustible while meeting the severest European fire protection norms, EN 13501-1.
Its features make it an extremely fitting material for sky-high and heavily crowded buildings, such as shopping and office centers, different institutions, hospitals, schools or high-tech buildings.
Thanks to ETEM Bulgaria, the composite panel is available on the Bulgarian market. It offers a unique array of innovative features while complying with the latest standards and requirements for material sustainability.
The company is firmly convinced that the trade policy will continue with the highest possible standards in providing a safe and a healthy environment. Thus, ETEM Bulgaria's team will monitor the strict application of the adopted norms while keeping the right not to make offers in case of a non-compliance with the necessary recommendations.
